Born in Quimper,France, Constant Vigier started ballet at the Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison.
He honed his craft at the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School and the renowned school of the Hamburg Ballet.
Constant delved into choreography under the mentorship of John Neumeier, one of the most recognised choreographers of all, presenting his first piece for the evening of the Hamburg Ballet Young Choreographers in 2012.
Since joining Scottish Ballet the following year , Constant has created a number of works as an independent choreographer. These include creations for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Cadences Festival in Arcachon, France.
He was selected to represent Scottish Ballet at the “Tell Tale Steps” Choreographic Lab organised by Northern Ballet in Leeds, led workshops for the Paris Opera Ballet School Summer Intensive and created works for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as well as London Studio Centre’s IMAGES Ballet Company.
Constant ventured into the digital realm, showcasing his creative talent through projects featured on prominent platforms like Nowness and the BBC, reaching audiences across diverse mediums.
